First appeared on Merz, german magazine edited by the constructivist/dadaist artist Kurt Schwitters, in 1923. Then reprinted several times. This appears on FOR THE VOICE by Vladimir Mayakovsky, set of three books edited by MIT press which propose a reissue of the original booklet designed by Lissitzky, a translation by Peter France of the original text and a collection of essays on both Mayakovsky and Lissitzky.
